The Eighth & Fork Story
It's been a long and winding road up until this point. The journey has had its plot twists and pivots, many of which we never forseen; like an entire pandemic. Who saw that thing coming?
Our founder's, Lorianne and Trevor, initial foray into the Denver food scene involved a dining membership program. Its goal was to highlight the incredible number of delicious eateries we have in the Mile High City. Members were rewarded with a sleek metal membership card, deep discounts and unlimited use. The idea was starting to grow legs and was about to take off when our lovely pandemic decided to make an appearance. As we all know, the food industry was one of the hardest hit. With that, there was a realization amongst our team that we needed to not only highlight restaurants but other local businesses as well.
So the membership soon included local makers and craftswomen and men, from candles to florists to hot sauces and spices. Another layer was discovered and added. From these featured local businesses sprouted Eighth & Fork Provisions.
There was a need to create a space for everyone, where customers could not only purchase locally crafted goods, but a space where they can connect with the people behind them. We wanted to tell the stories of the individuals who dream up the ideas and bring them to fruition. We wanted our space to inspire. But this time, we weren't going to limit ourselves to just the tasty items.
This is a place where you can find all things Colorado, where you can meet the incredible creators we have in our state, discover the makers and their unique and beautiful products. Just like where the Great Plains meet the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, Eighth & Fork Provisions is a converging point. A crossroads of ideas. A space where stories are told and the products you purchase aren't just like any other. You'll have a connection here with what you see, an investment in our local scene.
We hope you enjoy what the Centennial State has to offer. Welcome to Eighth & Fork Provisions.
